Define Academic Bankruptcy in detail.
Academic Bankruptcy is a process that allows students who performed poorly in the past to start over with a new grade point average. Students, in consultation with an advising team member, can request academic bankruptcy if there is a three-year interim (six consecutive semesters, excluding summers) between the time a student took their last course and the time they declare academic bankruptcy. A student can declare academic bankruptcy only once at PCCC.
