Academic Language. No profanity or inappropriate language.
What steps do we take during a fire drill?
Students line up outside and walk quietly in a single file line to the blacktop. Staying in line and behaving with the same expectation in the classroom.
What voice level does the class need to be at to allow classmates to focus and successfully complete their assignments?
Level 0: No talking. Unless instructed
What is the first thing you should do when you enter the classroom?
Go straight to your assigned seat and take out the required materials.

What does it mean to be respectful in the classroom?
Making sure we do not verbally or physically harm anyone and following classroom procedures to ensure our classroom is safe for learning.

How should you enter the classroom?
Entering the classroom quietly, walking straight to your assigned seat (You will not be running in, taking a detour to your friend's seat, or participating in roughhousing: energetic, noisy, and disorderly play, such as wrestling, tumbling, or shoving.
What do you do when you have a question during instruction?
Write it down on a sticky note or a piece of paper, and see if I answer it during the lesson. If it is not answered, ask me at the end.

A straight route! Go to the closest open bathroom. No detours

Always read directions carefully before starting any assignment, before asking for clarification (it’s okay to still ask, I know I am not perfect and may miss something)

You must stand up behind your assigned seat
I will inspect the area and determine if there needs to be any cleaning

Do not run or shove people on your way out. Walk calmly out the door
How many minutes does a student need to wait before going to the bathroom after class starts?
10 min. Before class and 10 min. before it ends.
What is the phone policy in class?
I silence my phone and make sure it is put away in my backpack.
If you see a big crowd of people forming a circle or increasing in people, what do you do?
Stay away and get a campus supervisor or teacher and inform them.
