Yes, because you are helping the school and setting a good example.
How do you know what homework to turn in? Where should you turn it in?
Ms. Bowden gives instruction on which assignments to turn in and when. Homework goes in the homework baskets on the bookshelf.
How can you show excellence when walking in the hallways?
Walking quietly in a straight line and not talking to other students even when spoken to.
What is the expectation and policy regarding homework.
It should have a proper heading or your full name name on worksheets, and turned in on time.
When can I sharpen my pencil? Can I use a personal pencil sharpener?
In the morning, right before transitions, at the end of the day. If I am teaching and you must use the sharpener, please wait until I am done talking.
Yes, you may have a personal pencil sharpener at school.
How can you show excellence to other students/classmates?
By speaking and responding kindly to everyone. You should be using an inside voice in the lunchroom.
What are some other things you may need to do in the morning?
Use the restroom, fill water bottle, unpack bookbag for the day, organize items on your desk, read quietly, prepare for the do now and if there is no do now, sit quietly unless Ms. Bowden says you can talk.
When walking in line, which side should you be at all times?
Tight to the right. You always line up to the right and walk on the right side of the hallway.

We will make time to do it over again until you get it right.

Sharpened pencils, highlighters, pens, looseleaf paper, notebooks, and all textbooks and work for classes.
