I hang up my backpack, quietly enter the classroom, pick up a self start, head to seat and begin working independently.

Bottom of the pit- I don't understand this YET, I am just beginning to learn this, I need help.
When is the best time to use the restroom in order to maximize learning time?
During class breaks.

Partners must speak and work equally together to complete the assignment. Do not just sit and copy.
What is the end of the day routine?
I wipe off my desk, put up my chair, pick up trash, line up.

Stay on the right side of the hallway, safe(body to self), quiet voice.

Completely out of learning pit(higher than you started)- I can do this very well, I can explain this and teach it to others, I can apply this in new ways.
What is the expectation when I am speaking or another student is sharing?
Keep silent and listen. If you have something to add, raise your hands and wait to speak.
What do you do if you finish an assignment before time is up?
Double check my work- use all my time wisely.
What does daily responsibility routine look like?
First I reflect at my seat, I quietly put my reflection sheet in the top corner of my desk to signal that I have completed it, then I pull out my computer and begin my Prodigy math facts, I signal with a thumbs up when I have completed my facts for the day.

Jumping into the learning pit- I am ready to have a go
What is the expectations for how you are sitting in your seat during learning time?
ALL chair legs are flat on the floor, my body and face are facing forwards the speaker, my feet are on the floor.
What do I do when it's time to pass in papers/materials?
I make sure my name in on my paper, I ensure that all papers are facing the same direction, I hand the materials to the person right next to me.
What is the routine for class bathroom breaks?
I turn my voice off, I push in my chair and walk to line up. I will wait for my teacher to signal when it is my turn to go into the bathroom. While in the bathroom I will do my business, wash my hands, and make sure I leave the bathroom better than I found it. I will then return to our class line.

Moving up- I am making mistakes, I need more practice, I am beginning to get it (with help)
What is the routine for coming into the building in the morning?
When the whistle blows I line up with my class. I am right behind the person in front of me and my voice is off. I am ready to enter the building at 8.
What is the expectation for pencils and desks?
Pencil check in days will be Wednesday and Friday, my teacher will check/exchange my pencils on these days, if materials are broken/gross looking I will need to reflect during free time on Friday.
What is the routine for walking in the hallway?
I will line up in line order, I will turn my voice off, I will walk directly behind the person in front of me, I will stay on the right side of the hallways until I reach my destination.
What does it look like and sound like when lunch/recess is over and its time to come back inside?
I listen for my teacher to blow the whistle, I hustle to get in line, I stand in line with hands and feet to myself, I walk in quietly with my class.
