What is personal space?
The space around someone or their things. Usually an arms length away.
How do you earn a heart?
Meeting your behavior goals.

No hitting, kicking, throwing, biting, spitting, punching etc.
Maintain personal boundaries.
Keeping your body to yourself.

How do you earn a Student Shout Out?
By doing something above and beyond what you are expected to do.
Cleaning up the classroom and our spaces.
Doing any chores assigned to you.
Getting any prizes you've earned.
What is Listening to others?
Being quiet when others are talking.
Follow directions.
What is the most important thing to do in an unsafe situation?
Listen to the adults giving directions.
What do you do if someone is in your space?
Ask them nicely to move.
If they don't listen, find a trusted adult.
What happens when we earn all of the hearts?
We get a reward!
We can go on a field trip or have a special day at school.
The calendar on Ms. Makayla's desk shows which student gets to choose. We take turns.

Become unsafe yourself.
Get involved.
Scream at them.
Run away without telling an adult.
How can you ask to enter someone else's personal space?
Bonus: What if they say no?

Respect their answer and don't enter their space.
