If you are talking during independent work time, you will be asked to move seats. If you continue talking, you will receive a reflection form that is documented. Often times a reflection form also means that parents/guardians are contacted to be notified.

What is an office referral?
Ms Shivani hopes office referrals can be avoided in her class, however, behavior that harms learning and students requires consequences from administration. An office referral is a documentated incident where students will talk to admin to reflect on behavior. This may involve parents, ISS, or overnight suspension depending on the incident.
