The colour slip you need to leave class for prayer, the office, or borrowing equipment.
What is pink?
A binder helps with this important learning skill.
What is organization?
The type of language we do not use in class.
What is harmful language?
The place and time unfinished work should be done.
What is on your own time, outside of class? OR when you have nothing else to do in class.
These must be out of your ears and put away before class.
What are earbuds?
What you must do when leaving for water or the washroom.
What is sign in and out?
This small item keeps pens, pencils, and supplies in one place.
What is a pencil case?
The 3 main groups of folks at Mount Hope we should treat with kindness and compassion.
Who are our classmates, staff, and ourselves?
The quality of work expected for assignments and projects.
What is trying your best to create high quality work?
The consequence if you are caught taking pictures of students in class.
What is having your device permanently banned?
Students from other classrooms should only be in our room under this condition.
What is when an educator has clearly communicated it?
You should come to class with these so you’re prepared.
What are learning materials? - ie. binder, homework, pencil case, etc.
Supporting each other and practicing this helps us manage stress.
What is self-care?
Writing down homework and due dates each day helps you track this.
What are assignments and tests?
The correct way to use classroom iPads.
What is asking permission and using them responsibly?
The expected behaviour after nutrition break bells outside.
What is lining up with your own class and stopping play?
Where garbage should never go in the classroom.
What are desks, shelves or the floor?
“Don’t forget that I care about you and your success” — who said this?
Who is Mr. Dalgleish?
Your education can be this, but only if you learn to self-advocate, ask questions and be engaged.
What is greatly improved?
The place iPads should NOT be left at the end of class.
What is on or inside desks?
The best time to ask for water and washroom breaks.
What is after the lesson has started and you are settled?
Snacks are not allowed unless we’re having a party or this.
