Morning Procedure
How do you ask to go to the bathroom?
Raise your hand or come up to me at a good time.
What websites can you be on?
Teacher approved websites.
What should go at the top of all papers?
First name and/or number
What should you do at the end of the day? Name 2 things.
Pack up. Clean up your area. Push in your chair.
What is the 1st thing you should do when you come in the morning?
Read the board. From TOP TO BOTTOM.
When should you shout out you need to use the restroom?
NEVER!
When should you use the waiting room?
If Ms. Terry is working in a small group, or with a student.
Where should you put your finished work? Unfinished work?
Put the finished work in the green bin. Put your unfinished work in the white bin.
How should you carry your computer?
With two hands! Cradle, like you would your baby brother or sister.
When and where should you get breakfast?
Before I come to class, in the cafeteria.
When are you allowed to go to the bathroom?
When the teacher isn't talking/teaching (independent work time).
When Ms. Terry is working with a group of students/one student.
How should I line up?
Walk to the line, face forward, keep your hands to yourself, and zero voice.
When is the dojo store open?
On Fridays!!! (except for this one)
What should you do to check-in?
Put a lunch stick and a 'going home' stick in your number slot.
What should you do NOT do in the bathroom?
Mess around, make a mess, or run.
What voice levels do we use in the classroom?
Mainly voice levels 0, 1, or 2. Once in a while 3.
How should we sit on the carpet.
Zero voice, face the teacher/board, sitting up on the carpet, and keep your hands to yourself.
I can to go to the nurse if...
Ask permission, are hurt/injured, and have a fever/puke.
What should you do with your backpack?
Take anything you need out of it then put it IN your cubby.
What is a reason why we may not let you go to the bathroom.
You have asked to go too many times in a day.
Not the right time to ask (the teacher is teaching or talking).
How should we treat our books in the classroom?
Nicely so they don't get ruined. :)
When is a good time to get a drink of water/fill up your water bottle?
When the teacher is NOT teaching/giving directions. When you are working by yourself.
How should we sit on the carpet?
Zero voice, sitting on your bottom, and giving your classmates space.
