Stay on task and embrace the challenge.
How many school days do you have to turn in missed work?
You have 5 school days from the date of absence.
What should you do before leaving the classroom for the restroom?
Use the iPad to complete a SmartPass.*
What route should you take to your seat?
Take the quickest route to your seat.
What is a respectful way to speak during conversations?
Speak respectfully and remain on topic
What is the rule about going to the restroom during class?
One person out at a time, go to the nearest restroom open, and straight there and back.
What happens if you turn in an assignment one day late?
It will be accepted but you will receive a maximum of a 70
What should you do when you return from the restroom?
Go straight back to class and sit down
What should you do with your personal device when you enter the room?
Put it away as soon as entering the room.
What kind of voice level should you use?
Use a voice level that doesn’t interrupt other conversations.
What happens if you use your personal device without permission?
It could be taken away and given to the office
How often can you complete a zero or low grade assignment?
There will be one opportunity per six weeks.
What is the expectation for cleanliness around your area?
Check for trash around your area and throw it away; leave the room better than you found it.
What should you do if you arrive late to class?
Enter quietly and find your seat without disrupting the lesson.

Nod, make eye contact, and take notes when appropriate.
What should you do when other people are talking?
Listen/Treat one another how we want to be treated

Ask the teacher for clarification before the due date.
How should you handle a situation where the restroom is occupied?
Wait quietly and patiently until it is available or ask for permission to use another restroom.
