You cannot go to the bathroom during a lesson. If it's an absolute emergency you can go during your work time. Try to use the bathroom during recess.

When Ms. Jillian is teaching you a lesson, what should you be doing?
Eyes on Ms. Jillian (and the board) and listening carefully.
What should it look and sound like when we're walking in the hallway?
Nice straight line, no pushing or butting, no talking
What are the expectations for getting a drink?
You should have a water bottle at your desk so you don't have to go to the fountain. If your bottle is out of water you can fill it up during lunch and recesses, not during class time.
What is the number one rule when Ms. Jillian is working with a student or group of students during reading time.

Listening when the teacher is talking, thinking about God and praising him, acting responsibly (no silliness).

Use kind words, keep hands off/feet off, don't touch anything in their desks, help each other, be encouraging
Are you allowed to book shop any day of the week?
No, only on Fridays.

When you are dismissed to get ready for recess, what are the expectations in the hallway?
Be nice and kind to our classmates, get ready quickly, go outside and stay there. If you need to come in to use the bathroom or another reason you MUST ask the teacher on duty. You're not allowed back in the school without permission.
What happens if your pencil breaks?
Trade it for a sharpened pencil. Leave your dull pencil in the cup to be sharpened by Ms. Jillian later.
