How do we walk into school in the mornings?

No. Everyone must eat at their desk.

No. But make sure you are face to face with a friend.
How do we get ready for our washroom break?
Tuck-in chairs. Go to hooks. Wait to be called to the line.
What do I do with my chair?
Stack it properly. No more than 6 to a stack.
The first place I go when I walk into the classroom is...
to grab my chair and then go to my desk.
Can I talk while I am reading?
No unless you have permission to be a reading buddy.
Can I walk around during lunch?
No. Please stay in your seat. If you must get up, wear a mask.
Where do we go for recess?
Check the recess schedule or ask the teacher?

Pack up your things.
How long is snack time? Can I use the washroom?
Snack time is 5 minutes. Please ask to use the washroom.
What do I do if I don't want to read?
Draw and label a picture. Write me a letter.
Can I use the washroom?
Yes. Ask permission first.
What do I need to do to ask for help? Answer a question?
Raise your hand and wait patiently.
Can I leave as soon as the bell goes?
We walk out together, quietly and in a straight line, to the front field.
How do I know snack time is done. What do I do next?
The timer will go off. Quickly clean up, put your food away, and listen for instructions.
What do I do when independent reading is over?
What about clean-up? What needs to happen?
Pack up your lunch. Throw out your garbage. Put your lunch away. Sit at your desk and wait for instructions.
How should I treat my classmates?
