Walk in, sit down, look @ the board to find the do now & get to work
How do I appropriately use the class instruments?
Only when the teacher says to, and by playing gently
When can I NOT Leave the room?
The first 5 or last 5 minutes of class or if there is a hold/lockdown/shelter
What does work time sound like?(level #)

What should you do if you forget your pencil?
Take one from the podium & put it back before the end of class
What do you do if you finish your work early?
Find a quiet activity to work on or Choose a spare time activity on the back wall
How can you show the speaker that you are giving them your full attention?
ears listening, eyes watching, hands and feet are still, mouth closed. (any of these are good answers!)
How do students respect other students belongings?
By not touching anything without permission from the student.
When can I NOT use the bathroom?
When someone is out OR when it is the first 5 or last 5 of class
What should you do with items that you find in the classroom and don't know who they belong to?
bring to the teacher
How can you respectfully eat food in this class?
By not sharing, by throwing out garbage, by not eating near instruments
How do you know what the Do-Now will be in the morning?
Look at the slide on the board every morning
When can I sharpen my pencil?
During worktime or center time. Not during teaching or lesson time.

Back on the table you found them on.
What is the lockdown procedure?
Group together in the corner silently
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns sharing, using nice words, and safe bodies.
How can I ask to go to the bathroom?
Raise hand and ask teacher, or silently raise the bathroom signal
How should we walk back into the room from the bathroom?
Walk in quietly without words and sit in your seat.
What is the firedrill procedure?
Quietly wait for instructions-- lineup silently -- as a group follow the leader outside-- STAY TOGETHER-- & listen for attendance
