What do you do when you first come in to class every day?
1. Hang your lunchbox on a peg.

How do we line up for recess, specials, lunch, and breaks?

What do you do if you have a question and the teacher is busy with a student or group?
Ask 3 before me! Ask 3 nearby classmates for help before asking the teacher.
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns sharing, using nice words, and safe bodies.
What should you do if you hear someone speaking on the intercom?
Stop all talking and listen to any announcements, helping others to hear what is being said.
How do we line up to leave the room?
1. Make sure there is no trash lying around, if there is, pick it up and put it in the wastebasket.

How do we walk back into the room after having stepped out for a moment?
Walk in quietly and sit in your seat. If you are unsure what to do, raise your hand and ask your teacher.
What do you have to do when given permission to leave the classroom?
Go directly to the place/person you have permission to go to, then come right back to class as soon as you're done.
How do students respect other students' things?
By not touching them or destroying them. If you want to borrow something or look at something, you need to ask nicely first. If they say no, respect their answer and ask someone else.
Where should you put work that is not finished?
In your backpack. You will finish it on the following class unless the teacher tells you something different.
When can I use the bathroom?
During work time, not during lesson time. You still need to ask the teacher before you go.
How many people should be in the bathroom at one time?
ONE!
How do we act at small group table? What do you do when it's not your turn at small group?
You sit nicely in your chair, do small group work together, then walk back to your desk.
If it's not your turn at small group, you're doing work quietly at your desk.
How do you know what to work on at the start of class?
Look at the board to see if the teacher has written any instructions and/or listen for instructions from the teacher.
How can you be a kind friend during class?
Taking turns, hands and feet to self, using nice words, including others in your group discussions, etc.
When can I sharpen my pencil?
During worktime. Not during teaching or lesson time.
Where can you turn in your work?
On the shelves located in the center of the History Wall. Make sure to place it on the designated area for your class.
What should you do if you are missing class notes for a day that you weren't in class?
Nicely ask one of your classmates if you can copy down their class notes or take a picture with your device so you can copy them in your notebook later.
What does work time sound like?
1. Level 0 during lesson time.
2. Levels 1-2 for pair and group work.
3. Level 3 when being called to speak.
4. Level 4 when presenting.
How can you show the speaker that you are giving them your full attention?
Give 5... eyes on speaker, lips closed, ears listening, hands and feet are quiet, brain thinking about what the speaker is saying.
Where should you be during class lessons?
In your seat unless your teacher has given permission to sit somewhere else in the classroom.
What do you do if you finish your work early?
1. Go on to the next activity you have been assigned (if there is one).
2. Raise your hand if you're unsure of what task to work on next.
3. Check your work.
4. Read a book or ask the teacher if you can help her with anything.
What should I do if I don't have a pencil?
Quietly ask your neighbor or table partners if you can borrow a pencil.
