By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.

Unpack backpack, read the board, if nothing is on the board, get out my chrome book and start working on Lexia or get my green light.

Say shhh, turn of our voices and listen for further instructions from the teacher.

3 before me! Ask 3 friends for help before asking the teacher.

How will I know when to start an activity if my teacher is giving directions?

Wait until she finishes giving directions.

Level 0, unless you have permission to talk, then level 1.

I will owe 5 minutes of recess.

How can you show the speaker that you are giving them your full attention?

Give 5...ears listening, eyes watching, hands and feet are still, mouth closed.

How do students respect other students things?

By not touching them or destroying them. If you want to borrow something or look at something, you need to ask nicely first. If they say no, respect their answer and ask someone else.

What should you do if you need to use the restroom. 

Try to only go during work time or center time. Not during lesson time. Show 2 fingers and wait for the thumbs up sign from the teacher.

What should you do with if you have a broken pencil or need a pencil?

Put up 1 finger, and wait for the the thumbs up sign. Put the dull pencil in the pencil bin and get a sharp pencil.

How do we act at small group table? What do you do when it's not your turn at small group?

You sit nicely in your chair, do small group work together, then walk back to your desk. 

If it's not your turn at small group, you're working quietly at your desk.

Where should you put work that is not finished? 

In our blue folder for reading and our red folder for writing.

What should you do if you need a tissue? 

Show four fingers and wait for the thumbs up from the teacher.

When can I sharpen my pencil?

At the beginning of the day, or during worktime or center time. Not during teaching or lesson time.

Morning Class in the Yellow bin.

Taking turns, hands and feet to self, using nice words, including others in your games, etc.

Wait until you are called, push in your chair, and walk to line without talking.

Walk in quietly without words and sit in your seat.

Do not shout out. Raise your hand and let the teacher know if she does not see them. Do not open the door yourself.

Stop what I am doing, fold my hands on my desk and look at the teacher.
