What do you do when you want to talk in class?

By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.

What do you do when you first come in every day?

Unpack everything from backpack, place backpack outside, put lunch and water bottles in the right spot, get Ipad out, and start Morning Work on the projector screen.

How do we line up for recess, specials, lunch, and restroom breaks?

Push your chairs in, walk quietly to line, Face forward, no talking. Do not open the door unless the teacher says so. Follow the line leaders.

How do we behave in the washroom/bathroom?

Mind our own business. Finish what we need to do in the bathroom quickly and come back to the classroom so we don't miss the lesson. No splashing water. It is haram to waste water. Be respectful.

How will I know when to start an activity if my teacher is giving directions?

Wait until he finishes giving directions.

What does work time sound like?

No Talking, unless you have permission to talk, then talk quietly.

When the teacher asks, "are there any questions?"

Work on IXL skill plan or unfinished IXL homework.

What do I do when snack and lunch time is over? 

Stop playing on iPad and clean up my desk, clean up around my desk (including the floor), put away my food box/bag in the right spot, and prepare for the next subject. Do this as quietly as possible!

How can you show the speaker that you are giving them your full attention?

Give 5...ears listening, eyes watching, hands and feet are still, mouth closed.

How do students respect other students things?

By not touching them or destroying them. If you want to borrow something or look at something, you need to ask nicely first. If they say no, respect their answer and ask someone else.

When can I use the bathroom?

During breaks. Not during lesson time. Use the appropriate hand signal. You still need to tell the teacher before you go.

What should you do with items that you find in the classroom and don't know who they belong to?

Put them at the diwaniya or inform the teacher.

How do we act when working with small groups? 

Do small group work together as a group. Talk to each other quietly. Use respectful words and language with each other. No fighting and no arguing. Everyone works together.

Quietly entering and not disrupting the class/lesson. Closing the door behind us.

Line up quickly, put our two finger hand signal up. Follow the line leaders to the grass area. Walk quickly but no running. Walk quietly and stay as a class.

What should you do if you are missing a supply like crayons, pencil, scissors, or glue? 

Borrow from your classmates and make sure your bring your class supplies next time.

How can you be a kind friend at recess?

Taking turns, hands and feet to self, using nice words, including others in your games, NO HITTING OR TOUCHING OTHER STUDENTS.

Sit up straight, pay attention to the video.

Put away what you are doing WITHOUT talking, grab your iPad and language arts work, WALK quietly to the door,  and close the door behind you when you leave the class.

What should you do during pack up time?

What do we do during dismissal time? 

Go to the hallway and grab my bag, and come back inside the class WITHOUT TALKING. Pack up my homework/books/iPad/lunch box/water bottle. 

Sit at my desk quietly. The faster we all pack up the more iPad time we will have at the end of the day. 

Wait for the teacher to call my name, push in my chair and leave the classroom in an orderly way without being loud. You may not come back in the class without permission and you may not enter the class without permission.
