When there's not enough time in class to finish it (There is always some time given in class).

Student drawings.
How long is the maximum you're supposed to take when going to the bathroom?
5 minutes.
Where can you find out what we're doing in class as soon as you walk in? What are in plain sight?
On the boards. Objective and Agenda are up every day.
When is the right time to sharpen your pencil or throw something in the garbage?
Before or after lecture, like when you're you're doing independent or group work with your pod peers. NEVER during videos or while the teacher is talking (lecture).
True or False: Pushing, shoving, arm wrestling; it's all allowed in the classroom as long as it's friends just playing around.
False. Nothing physical allowed in classroom. Must maintain atmosphere of seriousness.
What languages does Mr. Kravec speak?
English and Spanish
How does Mr. Kravec get your attention once class has already begun (so not the lights thing)
He goes to the front or back of the class and raises his hand. Students then raise their hands and get quiet.
What is the routine for asking to go to the bathroom?
Raise your hand with two crossed fingers and Mr. Kravec will nod when you can go. But try to never ask in the middle of a lecture or video if you can help it.
When is talking to pod peers allowed?
Only during work time. NEVER while the teacher is talking (lecture).
When is plagiarism, copying someone else's work or having AI come up with an assignment for you, allowed?
NEVER. And plagiarism or AI used in that manner will call for serious consequences including calling parents in for a conference.
What does Mr. Kravec wish his students would watch more of and where?
Movies and preferably in the theater.

Break down my class. What do we usually do in a typical class?
Opening Lecture, instructions and examples of what we're doing that day, then working with your pod peers to complete activity sheets.
Why is cursing not allowed in the classroom?
We must act differently in different situations and in class, we must be serious and show respect. We must act differently and stay focused on working and learning.
Are plushees, little skateboard, fidget spinners, toys, funny hats, or anything distracting allowed out during class and where should backpacks be?
No. Backpacks should be on the ground.
What do you do if you're absent? How do you know what happened in Mr. Kravec's class when you were gone?
What is your goal here in class? What are you here to do and why? What's the point?
The goal is to learn and work as hard as you can to be prepared for 8th grade, then high school and then get into a good college to be able to support yourself with a job you're happy with.
How do you know class has officially started?
The lights go on and off.
True or False? Writing, drawing and carving on desks is allowed.
False. It it not your property to mark up or vandalize.
True or False: playing video games, watching you tube videos or looking things up for something not academic is allowed when done with work.
FALSE. Playing video games or doing anything on the computer that is not academic is NEVER allowed. Again, this is to provide an atmosphere of seriousness.
True or False: Playing around and making fun of people is allowed in class.
FALSE. We are a classroom of respect. Making fun of people or interrupting people is NEVER ALLOWED.
What are students allowed to do once done with work?
Reading, catching up on work or IReady.
