What is CLIMATE?
This climate factor affects temperature of a location - the higher you go, the colder it gets
What is ALTITUDE or ELEVATION?
These gasses heat up the temperature of our planet by trapping heat
What are GREENHOUSES GASSES?
This event in human history led to increased pollution by adding factories to our planet (think Global History!)
What is the INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION?
The day to day conditions of the Atmosphere, based on temperature and precipitation
What is WEATHER?
This climate factor is why birds "fly south" for the winter. It is warmer near the Equator and colder near the poles
What is LATITUDE?
Greenhouse gasses include Carbon Dioxide, which is produced by the burning of these.
What are FOSSIL FUELS?
People began to become aware of the damage to the environment. What is one thing they did to try to stop it?
What is Earth Day, pressured their government to pass laws, etc
Any type of water that falls from the sky - rain, snow, sleet, etc
What is PRECIPITATION?
This climate factor affects precipitation/rainfall. The clouds are forced to rise which causes condensation and Precipitation. The other side is left dry.
What is MOUNTAINS?
Methane, which is very stinky, is added to the atmosphere in large amounts by this farming method.

This climate factor affects temperature. If they are warm, the land they flow by will be warmed. If they are cold, the land will be cooled. Look on page 4 in the ESRT for a clue!
