Cultural Celebrations/ Acknowledgements
Every year, all families, teachers, and staff in grades 3-K through 12, and students in grades 6-12 are asked to take this. The assessment gives school leaders a better understanding of what members of their school community think about their school. The information collected by the assessment is designed to support a dialogue among all members of the school community about how to make the school a better place to learn.

During the week of, February 12 -16, 2024, schools across the city will have the opportunity to highlight and build upon ongoing programs to help students, staff and communities gain a better understanding of diversity. Schools may also start new initiatives that promote respect for diversity and focus on preventing bullying, intimidation, and bias-based harassment.

Online Occurrence Reporting System
Curriculum designed to teach students a set of evidence-based coping skills. These skills enable them to regulate their emotions, manage difficult thoughts and behaviors, interact effectively with others, and engage in relaxation and mindfulness practices to navigate stressful situations. The curriculum is designed to be delivered through six modules adapted for grades K to 12.
