If I need to take a break, what is the first thing I should do?
I should talk to the staff in my room and/or try the calming corner.
When should I check the lost & found?
Every day!
Can I have gum at club?
No gum is allowed at Club.
I tried the calming corner and I still need a break. What should I do?

-Say please and thank you
-Use appropriate word choice
-Use kind words
Can I bring items from home?
You can bring these items to Club, but they must stay in either your cubby or at the desk. They should not be in your rooms with you unless you have specific permission.
How do I use the break area?
1. Set a timer for 5-8 minutes.
2. Fill out break sheet. You will choose between fidgets, coloring, or reading.
3. When time is up, you need to return to your program room.
What does it mean to be respectful?
-Listen to your teacher with a volume 0
-Keep your hands and feet to self
-Use kind words
-Follow directions
-Use appropriate words
-Talk to your staff and friends in a calm voice
What does it mean to be safe?
-Staying in your assigned program area
-Keep you hands and feet to yourself
-If you are in the Red Zone, ask to take a break and walk away from your friends
What can I do if the break area is not available?
Get a drink of water
Ask for a pair of noise cancelling headphones (if available)
Ask your staff if you can have a seat outside of the program room (where you are still visible)
What are the Lunch Expectations?
-Volume 1
-You need to raise your hand when you are done eating.
-A staff will check that your spot is clean
-If you drop something, pick it up!
What are bathroom basics?
-One member at a time (wait outside the bathroom)
-Keep it CLEAN
What happens if I am not following the break expectations?
You will not be allowed to take a break for a period of time.
What is the expectation for being in program rooms?
You need to stay in your program room unless your staff gives you permission to leave.
What if I want to change groups?
If you want to change your group for a DAY, talk to your program staff about why.
