Define badge attire; what happens when you are not wearing appropriate clothing to any SK event, meeting, ceremony, etc.
Badge attire constitutes dresses, dress pants and blouses, very nice skirt outfits, professional jumpsuits and complimentary shoes. No shorts, spaghetti-strap shirts, denim, miniskirts, rompers, tennis shoes, crop tops, leggings, or flip-flops are permitted. No hats are permitted during formal meetings and ritual events.
It is imperative that Sigma Kappa members conform to all dress code regulations. Any member not in accordance with the following dress code will receive a warning by the President,VPSV, or an advisor. If the member does not fix her attire, she may be dismissed from the event and counted as unexcused from the event.

The member’s parents are asked to sign an interest-bearing note for the amount involved. This should be handled by the financial advisor.
The member is responsible for all bills and fees, both local and national, incurred during the time of suspension.
The member shall attend meetings, recruitment events, new member ceremonies, and Initiations, but has no vote or social privileges and cannot hold office.
Any member who leaves school or graduates while indebted to the chapter should be placed on AFS by the above procedures.
Reinstatement of the member and return of her badge and membership certificate are automatic upon payment of all outstanding bills. The member must furnish the national headquarters with documentation by the chapter, which is endorsed by the ABS and Financial Advisor, that all indebtedness has been rectified.

What is the live-in policy???
All collegiate members and new members, unless college rules prevent, shall have the opportunity to live in the sorority house when a chapter or corporation owns or rents a house, suite, or residence hall floor and there is space available.
Sigma Kappa housing spaces are on a first-come, first-serve basis. If all spaces in the house are not filled by the last formal meeting during the fall semester, all members (excluding those graduating in December of that year and May of the following year and those who have already lived in the house) will be randomly entered and selected in an online generator. If members’ names are selected, they will be required to live in the chapter house beginning the following fall semester. Upon selection, members will have 7 days to appeal to live out if they choose to do so. The procedure is as follows:
She must submit a written petition to and receive approval from the chapter and advisory board.
If her petition is not approved, she must pay the amount equivalent to the room rent each term to the housing corporation in addition to adjusted local chapter obligations. This amount is to be credited against the rent due to the house corporation from the chapter.
A collegiate member or new member not following this policy must withdraw or be expelled from the Sorority. Her badge and membership certificate must be returned to national headquarters by the chapter, or the new member pin returned to the chapter.
Chapters not following this policy (XII.A.) are responsible for any resulting room rent for each term to the house corporation.
