Upon Code Grey announcement, ALL staff ensure that all windows & exits are locked and sentries posted, according to the Code Red Response chart as if all areas are in a fire affected zone.

To contain and prevent the spread of infections we initiate these 4 types of Additional Precautions.

1.Contact - patients with unexplainable symptoms.

2. Droplet Contact - patients with flu like or cough/fever in acute stages

3. Contact Plus - patients with VRE or Clostridium Difficile,

4. Modified Contact  - patients with MRSA and can leave room if in good hygiene.
