In a dream, Allah asked Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Prophet Ismail. This was highly significant as Prophet Ismail was extremely precious for Prophet Ibrahim yet his love and devotion for Allah was just as strong, and Prophet Ibrahim actually did sacrifice Prophet Ismail, however Allah replaced him with a ram at the last second as a testament to the Prophet's loyalty and bravery.
