NATO-Military Alliance. If one country goes to war/gets attacked, the rest of the countries in the alliance have to go to that countries aid.

Kent- the crowd was gathered to protest Vietnam, National Guard started shooting, 4 were killed, 9 were injured.
Jackson- City & state police confronted students in their dorm room, opened fire, killing 2, injuring 12.
