12 hours, and at least 15 hours each semester thereafter
How many letters of recommendations are required for certain scholarships?
Up to 3 letters of recommendation
What is Tuition?
The cost of your classes. Some schools charge tuition based on how many units you take, while others charge a base rate per semester if you stay within a specific range of units.
What is a brag sheet?
It helps your teachers or counselors to write letters of recommendation for you
2 year institutions have a reward of $1,000 during freshman year and $3,000 for sophomore year, though for 4 year institutions, the reward is $1,000 freshman, $4,000 sophomore, $4,000 junior, and $5,000 senior
What are the requirements for a full ride scholarship?
GPA, SAT scores, ACT scores, or through the combination of three. These are reserved for students who show academic excellence
What is Prerequisite?
Something required as a prior condition for something else to happen. (A lower-level class you must take before taking a higher-level course. For example, Biology 1 before Biology 2)
