I know my family won't qualify for financial aid so there is no point for us to fill out the FAFSA
FALSE! Many schools (including UD) won't even issue merit based scholarship without a FAFSA on file.

The C3 is only for seniors working on college applications
FALSE! The C3 is YOUR space:) All grade levels are welcome to come and have lunch in there! We have staff in there to help talk you through ideas or assist with a job or college application. It can also be a quiet getaway from the cafeteria to do some self reflection.
Depending on what school I apply to, it's possible I will need two of these as part of my application.
What is a teacher recommendation
What is the Net Price (important- the net price is almost NEVER the same as the sticker price!)
This is an activity where you volunteer your time to give back and to help others.
what is community service. This is not required by BHS to graduate, but valued by employers and colleges. Community service doesn't only give you the opportunity to give back, but can help you identify activities you enjoy and skills you may not have known you have
If I turn my application in during the fall, and agree to withdraw all other applications if accepted, and sign guarantee I will attend the school
What is Early Decision
Because schools are test optional, my SAT's definitely will not matter
FALSE! Depending on how you score on your SAT's, you may choose to submit them as added value to your application. In some cases, scoring above certain benchmarks on the SAT's makes you eligible for merit based scholarship.

This is the time during high school when you can begin to apply for scholarships

This is a really important tool/ assessment to take whether going to college or to a career. It can help you identify aptitudes, skills, career matches and interests
What is You Science
This document is required for many of the largest colleges & universities. In it, you will need to report your courses throughout high school and issued grades. It is due at the time your application is due.
What is the SRAR (Self-Reported Academic Record)
Since I'm going to college, I don't need to worry about a resume now
FALSE! All of you should be keeping (and updating) a chronological resume. This document will serve you very well should you apply for a job during or instead of college. Additionally, it can serve as a nice reminder of things you have done so you don't forget
