This major combines biology, chemistry, geography, and geology to study the environment.

This major studies how people and places are connected — from cities to climate to culture. Specific tools and methods used include maps and spatial data.

This center provides students with global human rights education and research. It also serves the community via programming and partnerships to promote ethical and civic engagement.
What is the Goldstein Center for Human Rights?
Students who like to reflect on experiences and find themselves entrenched in inquiries and ideas might find this major to be enjoyable. Students learn critical reasoning and/or logic as foundational skills in the discipline and Physics majors tend to gravitate toward the concepts.
What is Philosophy. (Side note: We have concentrations in Ethics, Law, and Social-Political Philosophy, popular for pre-law, and Philosophy of Brains, Minds, and Machines - a good fit for computer science, neuroscience, and psychology majors.)
This minor examines right and wrong for real-world decision-making.

Students in this major primarily focus on how the mind works through studies in biology, psychology, and technology, for a few examples. (Side note: Students love that it's a way to study behavior from a physiological standpoint.)

Students interested in culture and human expression via literature and writing will build strong communication and analytical skills for a multitude of careers in this major.
What is English?
This office helps pre-health students explore and plan for many different kinds of careers in the healthcare industry, all the way up to the application process for professional health programs.

This customizable A&S major lets students design their own degree by combining different fields of study.

Students cannot add a second major or minor without increasing their time to graduation and overall credit requirement.

Some majors lend themselves better to double majors than others, due to size and complexity, but students are frequently able to complete multiple programs without spending more time or money than minimally required.
Students with this major may choose one or more optional concentrations, three of which are Pre-Actuarial Science, Statistics, and Data Science. Students in this major can apply their skills in versatile and countless careers. (Side note: Students may say that it's not their strong suit, but I've seen many start from level 1 and make it all the way through the major, finding it quite enjoyable once they got the knack of it.)

This major is special because it's offered as a concentration in the College of Business and as a major or minor in the College of Arts and Sciences.
What's more interesting, Arts and Sciences does not house the major's department or employ any of its faculty.
