The Ten Commandments
Moses went to the top of this very high place to talk to God.
Mount Sinai
When the people heard God's rules, they said, "All that the ____ hath said we will ___.
"All that the Lord hath said we will do."
While Moses was on the mountain, the ground did this.
Shake or Quake
This Commandment tell us to be nice to our parents
"Honor thy father and mother"
God wrote the commandments on these heavy, flat objects.
Stone Tablets
God told the people they were a "peculiar treasure." Does that mean they were "weird" or "special"
Special
God told the people to do this to their clothes to get ready to meet Him
Wash them
God says we shouldn't do this with things that don't belong to us
stealing
When Moses came down from the mountain his face did this because he had been with God
He shone/glowed
Because the people weren't ready for the higher laws, God gave them these "lesser" rules to help them remember Him every day.

The Sabbath/Sunday
While Moses was gone, the people got tired of waiting and made a statue of this animal out of gold.
Calf or Cow
When the people were scared of the thunder and lightning on the mountain, they asked this prophet to talk to God for them.
Moses
God told the people not to "bear false witness," which is a fancy way of saying we should always do this.
Tell the TRUTH
Moses was on the mountain for this many days and nights

God promised to help the Israelites if they did this one simple thing
