Detects gum disease, tracks disease progression, prevents tooth loss, and helps determine what type of cleaning is needed.

150 forceps and the cowhorn forceps

What is front stage back stage?

Frontstage is anywhere a patient can hear you have a conversation or see you. Backstage is anywhere a patient cant hear or see you.

What is the office dress code for assistants? 

Black scrub bottom and top, closed toe shoes, and black jackets are okay.

Limited jewelry and hair tied up and neat. 

No hoodies or sweatshirts.

you are responsible for lab send outs, Lincoln and Mylah are responsible for tracking

What conditions must be present for a healthy mouth cleaning?

Healthy gums or mild gingivitis. May or may not have bone loss, but no history of periodontal therapy.

When is it appropriate/necessary for a patient to receive an oopsie card?

When they haven't received proper care or have delayed appt/treatment.

When do you need to print a new route slip?

A new one is needed for all crossover patients from hygiene to doctors side for treatment. 

A new one is also needed when they don't have one in any of the doctors folders, in sterile, already.
