A sudden change in mental status that can occur after anesthesia and surgery. It includes alteration in consciousness, cognitive deficit, hallucinations, lethargy, as well as agitation. Occurs more in the elderly population.
What is the postoperative delirium?
This is the first symptom a patient experiences when they develop compartment syndrome after they have been casted

What is malignant hyperthermia?
A condition in which swelling and increased pressure occurs within a limited space that compromises blood vessels, nerves, and tendons which reduce capillar perfusion and decreases tissue viability.
