Sharing personal information online
Should you share personal information online to someone you do not know?
NEVER!!!
When you are talking to someone online, should you be safe and respectful or dangerous and mean?
Always be safe and respectful, no matter what you are doing.
If someone who claims to know your mom/dad/gaurdian asks you for your adress online, should you give it to them?
NO! If you are unsure of what to do or say, always ask a grownup for help or guidance.
When chatting online, should you say bad words or type things you would not say in real life?
NO!!!
Should you always be safe with your passwords, location, and other personal information?
ALWAYS!!!!!
Should you share where you live, what school you go to, and other kinds of personal information like that to a friend you have only met online?
No! That supposable "friend" might use that information to do something dangerous or hack into your computer!
No! You should NEVER share passwords with anyone, unless it is your mom or dad.
If you have a friend who you know in real life, and who is being mean to you and is saying things she/he would not say in real life, should you just shake it off?
No! If you are being bullied online, than you should tell a grownup and they can help.
If a person online that you know in real life asks you to be friends with them on a game or social site, is it OK to say yes???
Yes! As long as the person is just asking to be friends and not asking for personal information, than it is perfectly fine.
If you say something personal online, than take it down, no one will remember or share it with other people... RIGHT?!?!
WRONG! Even if you take the personal or inappropriate information down, people might still remember it, repost it, or they could screenshot it. Always think before you post!!
