Check in with them, change your words, talk slower

Close to them / front row
After listening, what can you do to show you understand?
Respond to them and/or repeat what they said
What should you do when you are finished talking?
Make sure the other person understands
Move to a quiet space, ask people to quiet down, tell teacher
