This isn't just a suggestion; it's the law. If you need to make a report, it is confidential. Reporting in good faith protects you.

How do you know if a student has medical concerns?
Health needs that pertain to students taking our program are listed with the student names on your class lists. Please review these before your first day of class. Remember that this information is confidential and is not to be discussed with anyone except the office staff. You should not show your class list to students or parents as this information is private.
Our primary goal is to prevent behavioral crises from happening in the first place. How do we do that?
By fostering a supportive and understanding environment.
Tell us why keycards are so important.

What do we do on days where there is a "Heat Advisory"?
If excessive heat is in the forecast, we will move programs indoors if a space is available. We may need to cancel programs if no indoor alternatives are available. If the activity continues outdoors as scheduled we will: Spend any time outdoors in the shade whenever possible, take frequent water breaks and encourage students to get a drink during those breaks, keep outdoor activities low key and at a slower pace, adapt activities to suit the outdoor conditions, take indoor air conditioning breaks when possible.
