Yes! As this project is entirely outside there is lots of room for social distancing. You should be able to plant 6ft away from others

We found several community gardens around Flagstaff we could add to.
What does the garden promote?
it promotes healthy eating habits across all economic platforms
How long would this take to get started?
We estimate about a week to gather materials, donations, and research about plants that can grow here.
As this is outside we are leaving it up to the individual but it is encouraged it wear a mask when close to others

What if we did not have permission to add to a garden?
We could attempt to add to or crate a garden at NAU
Opportunities created by the garden?
Learning gardening skills is beneficial to continuing to grow the community garden. As well as provides good skills to the younger generations included in these communities.
How long would it take to plant in the garden?
It should only take an afternoon or two to get everything planted.
What about others touching the plants?
We plan to set up a plant washing station so that before anything is taken home people have the opportunity to clean their fruits or vegetables of any germs.

Create a space for communities to gather and to celebrate nature.
What financial issues could the garden face?
The only financial issue that would be reached is not receiving donations from the surrounding community.
How long will it take to see results from the garden?
It will take a while to see results as plants need time to grow and be tended to

What overall issues could the Garden face?
One issue the garden could face is that it would not be maintained. Our goal is to get it going but as students we don't have the time to constantly support it. We rely on the community for that.
Will I be able to help multiple times?
Yes! you could add to this garden or come tend to it whenever you have spare time
