This organizations helps with financial assistance for preschool and childcare for Sonoma County families. They have programs including the APP (Alternative Payment Program) or the VP (Voucher Program) that help cover the cost of childcare for many working parents. They also have 12 preschools throughout Sonoma County and offer classes to learn the process to become a childcare provider.

This organization is well known for their Youth Promotor Model that provides paid internships to bilingual and bicultural students (ages 16-25) in Sonoma County. The goal of the Youth Promotor Internship Program is to meaningfully engage the Latinx community on issues that impact health outcomes in Sonoma County and inspire the future community health workforce. They also have a weekly newsletter that features resources in a variety of areas, such as housing, mental health, education and job opportunities in Sonoma County along with many more.

They also help with job development, immigration services and even offer parent education classes through their AVANCE program.

  • Community Development Commission- Rapid Rehousing (CDC RRH) This program is focused on helping anyone in Sonoma County who is experiencing homelessness.
  • Re-entry Rental Assistance Program (RAP) Re-entry Rental Assistance Program is designed to assist homeless individuals who have previously been incarcerated in California state prison obtain and maintain permanent housing.
