What is a computer?
A computer is a device that manipulates information and data.
What is a computer case?
The metal plastic box that contains the main components of the computer.
What is the back of the computer case?
The back of a computer case has connection ports that are made to fit specific devices.
What is the motherboard?
The motherboard is the computer's main circuit board. It's a thin plate that holds the CPU, memory, and connectors.
What is a laptop computer?
A laptop is a personal computer that can be easily moved and used in a variety of locations.

What is a monitor?
The monitor is the screen displays images and text to the person using it.
What is a printer?
A printer is used to take documents from on the screen and make it in to a hard copy.
What dos the CPU look like?
The CPU is usually a two-inch ceramic square with a silicon chip located inside of the computer.
How is a laptop different from a desktop?
A laptop has an all-in-one design, with a built-in monitor, keyboard, touchpad and speakers.
What are some types of computers?
Smartphones, Watches TVS and game consoles.
What is a mouse?
The mouse lets you point to objects on the screen, click on stuff and move stuff.
What is a scanner?
A scanner allows you to copy a physical image or document and save it to your computer as a digital.
What is the processor?
The central processing unit also called a brain.

A touchpad also called a trackpad is a touch sensitive pad that lets you control the pointer by making a drawing motion with your finger
What is a laptop computer?
Battery powered computers that are easier to transport around to places.

A trackball and touchball
What is a microphone?
A type of input that records sound or talk with someone over the internet.
What is the ram?
Ram is your system's short-term memory.
What is the AC adapter?
A laptop usually has a specialized power cable called an AC adapter which is designed to be used with that specific type of laptop.
What is a server computer?
A computer that serves up information to other computers on the same network.
What is a keyboard?
the keyboard lets you type and communicate with the computer.
What is a web camera?
A web camera or webcam is a type of input device that can record videos and take pictures.
What is the hard drive?
The hard drive is where your software, documents, and other files are stored.
