The American belief, having won the revolutionary war, that they were chosen by god to take over the entire North American Continent.
Why were Francophones refusing confederation?
Giving the English more control through the federal government seems terrible to them. The English and French still hate each other.
Who won the Battle of the Plains of Abraham?
The British. They took over all of New France.
People who chose to side with the British monarchy in the Revolutionary War. The African American Loyalists were treated so poorly that they decided to move to Sierra Leone in Africa.
