Catholics are Christian but not all Christians are Catholics.
Protestants broke from the Catholic Church established by Christ from several reasons including not wanting to submit the the Pope, Solo Scriptura, Catholic teachings (Divorce), ect.
Describe who goes to hell.
Who are those who willfully persist in a state of mortal sin until death.
Those who freely choose to reject God.
Hell is a free choice.
Name the term for a "sacred sign that Christ gave to the Church to deliver grace to us, share His divine Life with us and make us holy".
What is a SACRAMENT?

Name 2 criteria necessary for a Sacrament to be valid.
What are correct
1. Matter-physical part (ex. bread, wine, water)
2. Form- the accompanying words/prayers that make the sacrament effective (Water is not baptism unless you say the words "I Baptize you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit).

Jesus established the Catholic Church and then passed it to his APOSTLES to continue his work.
APOSTOLIC SUCESSION

Describe how a Sacrament is different from an everyday sign (ex stop sign).

Eucharist- Bread and wine signify the Body and Blood of Christ...during mass with the valid matter and form JESUS' Body and Blood become truly PRESENT!
List 3 ways to show respect at Mass right before/during/right after receiving the Eucharist.

Bow, kneel of 2 knees, receiving into a throne made by your hands, receive on the tongue, say, "Amen", sign of the cross after, pray silently/respectfully, walk forward silently and respectfully
Explain why the Catholic Church is described as "Catholic" (and what does "Catholic" mean).
What is "Catholic" means "Universal". God wants everyone to be a member of the Church Jesus Founded.
Describe what will happen at the end of our life during the "Particular Judgement".
What is we will know how our actions and life compared to what God made us to be. This will determine how we spend eternity, wither with God in Heaven or separated from God in hell. (pg 63)
Last Judgement- At the end of time Jesus will return "to judge the living and the dead". Not new option for eternity but we will see how our sins effected everything. Resurrection of the Body.
