Political Parties- Organized group of people with similar political beliefs- strength in numbers (more people the stronger the group) They developed because Hamilton/Jefferson had differences of opinion

Why was the Monroe Doctrine issued? What did it say?
The Monroe Doctrine was the U.S.'s foreign policy regarding Central and South America. It stated that future efforts by Europe to colonize or interfere with North and South America would be looked at as an act of aggression.

Why did Alexander Hamilton want to form a national bank fro America?
Hamilton wanted to find a way to improve the government's financial reputation and strengthen the nation. The national bank would issue paper money, lend money and safely hold government deposits.
