They probably need to borrow a pencil. You can look to see if you have another one to lend them or say, "Sorry, I don't have another pencil."

They probably feel happy and excited.

They probably want to be your partner. You can say, "No, let's work together."
Your classmate says that they excited because their cousin is coming over after school. What can you ask?

They probably want to play UNO with you, you could say "No I don't, but I'd like to learn!"

They probably feel silly and playful.
Your teacher asks, "Is everything alright?" What do they think and what can you say back?
They might think that something is wrong or you are upset. If everything is alright, you can say, "I'm fine. Thank you."
