An organized collection of evidence that shows your accomplishments both in and out of school
What is a portfolio?
Who you must contact as early as possible if you will be absent from or tardy for your Co-op placement

What is a resume tells an employer your accomplishments while a portfolio shows them?
When workplace incidents or injuries must be reported to your mentor (employer), supervisor (Co-op teacher) and your parent/guardian following an event

You must have this before using certain tools, machinery or appliances at the workplace
What is training?
Adults working with students can be charged with this if they are attempting to pursue, isolate or see pupils individually without valid reason; engaging in behaviour which may not necessarily be directed at anyone in particular but creates a hostile or offensive atmosphere; or acting in a way that would objectively be considered offensive or insulting, exceeding reasonable limits of discipline
What is misconduct?
The training that is required by at least one employee on site at your placement in order for a placement to proceed

This is the first step of creating a portfolio where you collect artifacts that show your interests, involvements and achievements
What is gathering evidence?
If you have work place concerns or problems, you must report it to this person as soon as possible

What is report it?
The consequence of this is disciplinary action up to and including suspension in the case of pupils, dismissal of employees or banning from school premises and possible legal action in the case of parents and volunteers. Disciplinary action taken by the school system does not preclude the respondent from pursuing civil action.

They are required to contribute to a safe and positive learning environment; be responsible for their conduct at school and while on the way to and from school; respect the rights of others; and to comply with all school policies.
Who are students?
$2 million in insurance and winter tires on their vehicle between November 1 and April 30
What is the requirements a driver must have to transport students?
(This requirement applies to students driving each other if traveling together for school sanctioned events such as Co-op placement during the school day)
