8th- dad quit school when he was 15 to get a job and provide for his family after his dad's heart attack. His mom was disabled and couldn't work.

A loud whistle that could be heard from anywhere on the place.
While "helping" dad plow the garden this young child placed their hand in the wrong place resulting in a finger being pinched in the spring of the plow resulting in a trip to the ER.

Mac and cheese..... sometimes with hot dogs, sometimes with tuna, any way she could find to get us to eat it.
