YES. the only place they can't double dip is with BA/BS classes.

FALSE!! There is no difference between the two, we recommend BA vs BS depending on courses they have already completed or plan to complete.
Social Science:
EC 201, EC 202, EC 327, EC 330
NO! They must hit at least 2 departments!

Students must take WR 122
They can take either WR 122 or 123 after taking 121 but the business school does not care which one.
If they are planning on a BA and have taken 101-103 and 201-203 FR, are their arts and letters complete?
No! 2 years of proficiency in language required for BA, and no double dipping. 300s French could start going into arts and letters.
Arts and Letters:
DAN 260, MUS 151, PHIL 160, REL 101
YES- as long as you have classes from 2 departments and no longer need 2 of the same.
How many classes can students ~safely~ take P/NP?
3 classes or 12 credits. Anymore and they will need more than 180 credits to graduate.
T/F Students must have both writing classes before being admitted to the business school.
TRUE!! writing is a formal requirement before being accepted (it's not like areas of inquiry)
A student has taken SPAN 301. Is there BA complete?
YES! 300 level classes satisfy the language requirement through proficiency.
Science:
ENVS 202, ASTR 123, PSY 202, ASTR 122
No! PSY 202 is a social science (it's 201 that is a science)
T/F You need to have 2 classes in each area that have the same prefix
FALSE- according to new areas of inquiry rules, students do not need to have multiple classes from the same dept.
They have taken ANTH 278 (Science, Race, Society) and ENG 243 (Int Chicano/Latino Lit), is there MC requirement complete?
No. These are both US perspectives classes and they still need one global perspectives class.
How many classes do you need to complete your BS
Depends on their placement exam. They may also have their BS complete but need to take more math to complete PB requirements.
BS: MATH 241, MATH 243
YES! They have also shown proficiency for MATH 111 (1 full year)
