It is your responsibility to clean up your own mess.
It is not fair to expect Mr. Waterman (our custodian) to clean up your mess. His job is to provide basic maintenance and cleaning services. He does upkeep cleaning (emptying trash, mopping and sweeping floors, cleaning bathrooms). He also do maintenance on a variety of things around the school and helps staff with small repair jobs.

- Talk to a trusted adult about ways you can problem solve

You sit down in your assigned seat and get your materials out so that you are ready to learn!

It is important that we create an environment where all feel comfortable (students and staff).
At school we try to maintain professionalism by using school appropriate language to eliminate distractions so that everyone shows up ready to learn.
When you are absent from school, what do you need to do to get your absence excused?
- Have your parent call the front office
- Bring in a doctors note if you were at the doctors office

- Go directly to the activity right after the bell rings
- Follow all the school rules while at your activity

How should you enter a class when you are coming back from another location on campus (the office, library, bathroom, etc.)?
1. Walk in quietly
2. Put your pass away
3. Quietly find your assigned seat
4. Observe what the class is working on and if you can figure it out, get out the required materials and get to work.
5. If you do not know, what everyone is working on, quietly ask the person sitting next to you.
6. If the person sitting next to you does not know, wait until the teacher is done instructing the class and ask the teacher
7. Get to work!
