No! Even if you have an emergency, it is not safe for you to ever be by yourself. You can leave the counselors a note or let your teacher know and one of the counselors will follow up with you as soon as they can.
Do counselors talk to teachers and parents about how to help students?
YES! However, I will never share something confidential that you tell me as long as it doesn't involve hurting yourself of someone else. If you WANT me to tell your teacher or parent, you can ask me to do that. I will never call your parent without telling you. My job is to be someone you can trust.
