It's a great way to  mark the occasion in history of the country, place or family

it’s a family gathering and an opportunity to get closer with all your relatives

to relax and escape from working routine  as holidays are usually days off

What natural disasters do you know? Which ones are the most dangerous? Why?

Avalanche, landslide, hurricane,  volcanic eruption, forest fire,  flood

In my opinion the most dangerous are volcanic eruption, tsunami and avalanche.

Because they all involve a big amount of injured and dead people and there is no way to escape.

Why do people worry about environmental issues nowadays?

Our planet is unique

we do not have another place to live

there are a lot of problems and a lot of disasters

Most gestures are the same

 Many examples of body language are easy to identify. In most cultures, smiling shows happiness and a friendly attitude.  

some are different, nodding your head in Bulgaria means no or diagreement

Many cultures believe a horseshoe above the door will bring good luck

What natural disasters are typical of our country?

Avalanche, landslide, forest fire, flood,

Russia is the biggest country in the world and there are  many climate zones where many disasters

happen. In the southern regions there are floods, in the central parts (even in Moscow regions) in summer there is a big number of forest fires because of hot air and in the Far East even volcanic eruption may happen.

Victory Day  -The 9th of May -the day when the Great Patriotic War finished but Russian people do not forget their heroes, concerts are held
