Assumption: No official declaration if Mary went through human death. It’s assumed that by the power of God, she went directly to Him. Her body was not subject to corruption as human bodies are.

What story does the Nicene Creed tell?

Egypt: God sent 10 plagues upon Egypt one of which was the death of the firstborn; they had to sacrifice a year-old unblemished lamb, spread its blood over their doorsteps, and roast and eat its flesh in a sacred meal that consisted of unleavened bread and wine. In doing so, their homes would be passed over that night and the firstborn spared.
New Covenant: We are all enslaved by sin and death, but God sent Jesus, the lamb of God, to sacrifice himself for us, and free us. We participate in this sacrifice as we receive the Eucharist at Mass.

Original sin: the idea of sin has existed since the fall of man (or since Adam and Eve)
The fall of man: the descent of humanity from a state of innocence to sin (Adam and Eve eating the apple)

Mother of Jesus: The Angel Gabriel came to Mary, to tell her that she will bear the Son of God.
Queen of Heaven and Earth: She is the Mother of Jesus, who is King of kings. She offers abiding mercy and compassion, interceding on behalf of all of God’s children.

God revealed himself through faith, and granted us with the ability to use reason to understand faith.
