Marijuana and medically issued marijuana are not by their definition prescription drugs or over-the-counter drugs, and are prohibited under this policy for all employees, regardless of whether the employee has a medical marijuana license. Pre-employment drug screening and random drug screens do not include testing for THC- otherwise known as marijuana.

What steps are the involved in CREOKS progressive discipline policy?

Progressive discipline means that, with respect to most disciplinary problems, these steps will normally be followed: a first offense may call for a verbal warning; a next offense may be followed by a written warning; another offense may lead to a suspension; and, still another offense may then lead to termination of employment, depending on the severity of the problem.

What steps are required by CREOKS after an employee makes a report of abuse to DHS?

After the report has been made to OKDHS Abuse Hotline, you will document in a progress note, the date, time, client, circumstance, the person in which you spoke to at the OKDHS Abuse Hotline and any other identification they provide.  At that time, you will complete a Critical Incident Report and forward to your supervisor per Critical incident Report Policy and Procedures.  Lastly, you will document the call to OKDHS Abuse Hotline in the Reporting Log kept in a secure notebook in the Medical Records Room of the Clinic in which you provide services
