Seven S's
Examiners need to look to see where the photos need to be taken. Primary or secondary scene.
What is Scanning the scene?
Witnesses aren't allowed to talk to each other to compare stories or create one
What is Seperating the witnesses?
A view of the crime scene should be taken at different angles. Close up photos with or w/o a ruler.
What is Seeing the scene?
Spiral method, Grid method, Strip or line search, quadrant or zone search.
What is searching the scene?
Check for safety of individuals, preserve evidence and keep a crime scene log.
What is Securing a scene?
