When a crime is broken someone will go to court for criminal law.

A disagreement between two people or organizations that has to go to court for a solution to be found.

Theft.

When somebody is injured on your property or because of you and you are brought to court for medical damages.
No wet floor sign at Walmart and you slip and get injured.

A court ruling in the passed used as a "law" on a current case.
Defendant lawyer would say... "They ruled this way before, so it should be the same for my client"
What is a plea bargain?
When you plead guilty right away and you get a lesser sentence compared to if you said your not guilty.

What is the difference between delinquent offender and status offender?
Delinquent = An adult would not get in trouble for breaking that law like curfew.
Status = Juveniles and adults would get in trouble for breaking that law like robbery.

Going to court based off of a broken contract.
