At the age of 8 they raced in a contest called Kmart Kids Race Against Drugs. Essentially drove ride on mowers without the mowers around a track in the kmart parking lot which included turns, hills and changing direction. She was the top female in my state and got to race against the top kids from the country at Disney in Florida. She placed 13th nationally.
